Yael stone, a native of New York City Australian resident, portrayed Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Since her early years, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of performance and visionaries behind the scenes in film as well as theatre and television. Yael has a very successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence with the city of New York City when the production was acclaimed in the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael established The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and works in the city to promote creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
