Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better called Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer of England. The actress has earned fame playing the role of Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey", and the GP Gemma Foster in the medical drama "Doctor Foster". Jones is an Greater Manchester native who joined Oldham Theatre Workshop to receive her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. At the age of eight she began performing in a show called "Wait Till Dark. In the play, she portrayed Gloria. She made her screen debut in 1997, in an episode of 'Coronation'. Then, in 2000, she returned for the show as Karen McDonald. When she quit the ITV soap opera, she was cast as a variety of roles on TV shows like 'Vincent' "Strictly a Confidential," and the 'Harley Street'. On the big screen she's been in films like "Love and A Long Shot", "Broken Hearts" as well as 'A Christmas Star'.
